Midwest Regional Organizer and Inspector - Real Organic Project

The Real Organic Project is excited to announce that we are hiring a Midwest Regional Organizer and Inspector. This position will play a key role in supporting and expanding the Real Organic movement throughout the Midwest, working directly with farmers and helping uphold the integrity of the organic movement.

Real Organic Project runs an add-on certification program. This means, we work with certified organic farmers in the US to inspect and certify them to additional standards above and beyond the NOP standards they are already certified to. Our program mimics the certification process of the National Organic Program with farms submitting an application, undergoing review, inspection and a final review with a certificate issued annually.

Contract Organic Inspector - NICS

Nature’s International Certification Services is looking to expand our network of experienced, independent contract organic inspectors in the following region:

  • Midwest (multiple states - based on your location and availability)

  • Conduct on-site organic inspections for farming operations
  • Review records, verify practices, and document findings in a clear, timely, and professional manner

  • Prior organic inspection experience
  • Knowledge of organic standards with experience in crops/livestock (poultry and dairy)

QCS is hiring for a Certification Supervisor (Livestock) position! We’re seeking a thoughtful, detail-oriented, and driven leader to join the vibrant QCS team and oversee our livestock certification team and portfolio. This person will lead Reviewers in ensuring timely and accurate certification services and continuously improve processes using key performance indicators. They’ll help shape policies, support team member development, and uphold the integrity of organic standards while delivering a strong client experience.

This role collaborates with Extension staff and community partners to deliver educational programs, coordinate events and host on-farm demonstrations. The Specialist will create outreach content, and support research activities, reporting, and grant-funded initiatives such as the Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP).
