I am the past chair of National Organic Standards Board. For the past 35 Years, I've spoken on organic crops, livestock, processing and marketing at a wide variety of organic conferences in North and Central America, educating farmers, processors, extension agents, and others about organic production and regulations. I perform 20 to 40 inspections, although I was a full time inspector for more than 20 years. My husband and I run a part-time certified organic greenhouse, a licensed dehydration facility and 12 acres of certified organic and biodynamic grains, forages, vegetables and herbs. I coau
