Course Description

Advanced Training Series - New Format! 

Fridays - February 27 through March 27, 2026 

IOIA will feature a “Ask Me Anything” format advanced training session on each Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. Pacific. Each session will be 2 hours on Zoom. 

This will be a great, affordable way to rack up 10 hours of Continuing Education. 

Certificates will be awarded.

February 27, 2026 - The Global Landscape of Organic – David Crucefix (UK) and Bo Van Elzakker (The Netherlands)

March 6, 2026 - Organic and Biodynamic Winery Q &A – Pam Sullivan and JJ Mack, inspectors, and Stephen Webber, experienced winemaker 

March 13, 2026 – Inspecting Producer/Grower Groups (EU and NOP) – Kathe Purvis and Luis Brenes

March 20, 2026 - Livestock Feed – Ask me Anything – Joe Ward, PhD in Ruminant Nutrition and Kim Pohle, Poultry Specialist

March 27, 2026 - Inputs - Ask OMRI anything– Peter Bungum and Kelsey McKee, OMRI

$100 - Inspector Members, IOIA Supporting Individual members, Staff of Supporting Businesses or Supporting Certifier members 

$150 - Non-Members Pricing 

All Five Sessions - 

$350 - Inspector Members 

$450 – IOIA Supporting Individual members, Staff of Supporting Businesses or Supporting Certifier members

Requirements

Advanced Training Certificates will be awarded to those who fully participate and who meet advanced training criteria (have conducted at least 20 inspections and have attended at least 1 basic inspection training). 

Other participants will receive a Letter of Participation documenting their hours.
