October 29, 2026: IOIA/OIC Inspection of Organic Bulk Ships and Transloading Facilities

Date: October 29 2026
Non member Price: $250

Course Description

The webinar is available anywhere in the world.

About the Webinar:

Increasingly, organic commodities are moving around the world in bulk ships and passing through large port and transloading facilities in the process. At the same time, few inspectors are trained in the relevant organic control points and terminology, understand nature of these complex supply chains or are prepared to perform these kinds of inspections. Training will focus on specific OCPs for these kinds of inspections as well as involve realistic trace back exercises drawn from recent work the members of the OICG have been performing in this sector over the last six years.

Garth Kahl, IOIA Trainer and one of the founders of the Organic Integrity Cooperative, will present this single 2-hour session. Garth is a highly experienced, multi-scope inspector; organic consultant; and certified organic farmer.

The Organic Integrity Cooperative is a cooperative of organic inspectors, trainers, and consultants. They specialize in tailored compliance consulting and investigation, training, and internal audits that strengthen certification and quality systems.
