About the Webinar:
IOIA/OMRI Processing Input Materials webinar is an intermediate 200 level course. The course is geared for persons with an understanding of NOP Processing Standards and processing inspection or certification. Course participants preferably will have completed the IOIA Basic Processing course or the IOIA 100 Level NOP Processing Standards webinar.
Participants in this essential session for the experienced Processing Inspector or Reviewer will:
- Increase skills in what a processing inspector should look for during inspections, and
- Gain understanding of input assessment by examining how the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) evaluates input materials.
Previous IOIA/OMRI crop, livestock and processing input material webinars have been evaluated very well by inspectors, reviewers, and certification agency staff.

Scheduling:
This course is comprised of 3 components: self-study pre-webinar assignment, the webinar presentations, and a final evaluation exam. The webinar will include in-class discussion, examples, exercises and the opportunity for questions and answers. The course concludes with an exam to evaluate individual learning.
The course may require 4-6 hours to complete the self-study pre-webinar exercises and approximately 1 ½ -2 hours to complete the exam following the webinar.
Assignment Due Dates and Information:
Pre-Webinar: 12:00 Noon (Pacific) September 11, 2024
Final Exam: 11:55 pm (Pacific) October 2, 2024
Your Pre-Webinar Assignment will be emailed to you two weeks prior to the due date. Your Final Exam will be sent to you at the conclusion of the webinar session.
Grades and Certificates:
IOIA will follow-up with you within 30 days of the completion of the webinar with your course outcome.

Requirements
Certificates: Participants who meet minimum requirements will receive will receive a joint IOIA/OMRI Certificate of Completion.
Letters of Participation: Participants who attend the webinar but opt out of the assignment submission, fail to achieve a passing score will receive a joint IOIA/OMRI Letter of Participation, to document their attendance.
